Reporter: So, why do you write these strong female characters?

Microsoft officially pulls DRM from Xbox One, announces new policies - NeoGAF
Microsoft officially pulls DRM from Xbox One, announces new policies Gaming DiscussionHilarious. Just goes to show how bad an idea this stuff was in the first place. Microsoft Xbox One-Eighty, ahoy!
Okay first: awesome that xbox changed their stance on those policies. It’s pretty great that we, members of the public, still can have our say. Our opinions can sway the big corporations, not the other way around. A round of applause for everyone who stood up and complained.
Second: I don’t think their ideas were bad. Just way before their time. The main idea in xbone’s initial policies were that, looking at itunes and amazon instant video etc, the world is going digital. The need for boxes, cases, and discs is dying. But the thing is - it isn’t for gaming! Why? Because reselling, sharing, and taking the disc to a friend’s house to play are a very important of the base culture of gaming. Take those things away, and the culture collapses. Will we one day be ready for all digital gaming? Yes. But one change at a time, not a whole barrage of them.
Slowly, and eventually, we’ll all be on xbone’s original vision. It’ll just be a day when the world’s internet infrastructure has become more stable, and when the economy has changed. We need the change in two ways, I think. A higher standard of living, more expendable income, and a boost to the video game industry in general. Studios are rolling in dough, but not quite enough dough to do an overall price drop. (Say, 40 bucks for a digital game, not 60 what we pay now). But in the future. Distant happier future. xD
But for now, the xbone has changed into something the public wants. Cool. Good for them. Will I get one, personally? No. Not right away, at least, maybe not ever, depending on how Halo V plays out. But the possibility has gone up! From 0.0 to like, a tiny .00001 sometime, ha!
Fraid not Star, the reasoning is much simpler and seems more reasonable
I could explain it to you but I best just link you to a video Total biscuit did instead doing it in a very clear manner.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2G_f8YBy39M
It explains DRM and shtuff, why it’s less about screwing the people coz of lol-pirates and more because of places like gamestation fucking over game makers and the like.Ya know why Stalker had day one DLC? Gamestop and the like demanded it.
Blah blah, Gamestop and game sellers are cock bags who make their money reselling games where the makers get nothin- just watch the vid.
(Also don’t get me wrong, I agree it’s a bit ahead of it’s time, but microsoft were also massive dicks and are money grubbers)Posted on June 19, 2013 via Sprue's Box with 5 notes

I live in an island, so yesterday we had a really bad mist (like silent hill style) around the city ‘cause of the ocean and things like that. So what happened to show up inside of the mist? THIS DUDE! THIS DUDE SHOWED UP FROM NOWHERE WEARING THIS SILENT HILL PYRAMID HEAD COSPLAY AND JUST STOOD THERE! IN THE FUCKING MIDDLE OF THE STREET! FUCK! I ALMOST DIED WHEN I SAW THAT! To make it worst it was 2AM!
